Natural foods will give you the best results. I don't think the average person needs to supplement with creatine, L-glutamine or any other substances. To improve your strength and lower your percent body fat you should eliminate processed foods and fast foods. Instead of these empty calories, try plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains, lean sources of protein such as poultry, fish, lean red meat and eggs, and don't forget the good fats, including fish, olive oil and flaxmeal or flaxseed oil. Try not to eat too much protein, you should eat .5-.75 grams of protein per pound of body weight per day. Carbohydrates should be your main source of food and should equal 40-60% of your total calories. Good luck on your fitness endeavors and if you get stuck, seek the help of a GAC Personal Trainer. |
