Cathy Betts

Cathy Betts has been the Kids Corner Coordinator at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2012. She has worked as a para-professional in the Swartz Creek school district where she grew a desire to work with children. Having grown up in a family with 13 siblings she has a passion for family and children and loves the family-friendly atmosphere that GAC offers. Cathy has 4 teenage children and is a lifetime resident of Swartz Creek.


Tricia Clark

Tricia Clark has been the Programs Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2005. She has over 20 years of experience in the health club industry. Tricia studied nursing at Sheridan College and is a long time resident of Grand Blanc with 3 teenagers who have not only grown up in Grand Blanc but also at GAC. Tricia is passionate about maintaining the family-friendly healthy lifestyle environment that makes GAC unique.

Jen Colombo

Jen Colombo has been the Fitness Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since October 2001. Jen is certified as a personal trainer/health and fitness instructor through National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), certified yoga instructor through YogaFit and most recently, a certified Health Coach through American Council on Exercise (ACE).  Jen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Health Promotion from Michigan State University. Her knowledge and passions include nutritional analysis, postural alignment, post-rehabilitation, functional training along with teaching yoga classes and workshops.

Collene Eller

Collene Eller has been the General Manager at Genesys Conference & Banquet Center since October 2004. Collene has worked for over 30 years in the hospitality industry. Her background and experience includes management and ownership of conference centers, country clubs, and fine dining restaurants. Collene has received Hospitality Awards of Excellence, has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, and continues expanding her certifications in meeting and event planning management. She is passionate about making a professional and memorable experience for all guests. Collene says she is supported by an outstanding team that makes the difference with each event’s success.

Jessica Haney

Jessica Haney has been the Aquatics Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2016. She has 15 years’ experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Jessica is certified as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard, and USA Registered Swim Coach. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Oakland University. Jessica has a longtime love for aquatics; having swam competitively through high school. She is also a part-time coach for her kids’ swim team. When not on the pool deck, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, reading, gardening, hiking, running, and swimming.

Don Leavy

Don Leavy has been the Tennis Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since May 2014. Don is certified as a tennis teaching professional (15 years) from the United States Professional Teaching Association (USPTA) and is also a certified Net Generation Tennis Coach from the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Don holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Don is also the head varsity tennis coach at Grand Blanc High School for both boys and girls. His teams have qualified for the state finals 12 times and have won a combined 6 regional championships, 14 divisional championships, and 14 conference championships. He has also received the Coach of the Year Award 7 times.

Tracy Lowes

Tracy Lowes has been the Membership Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2008. Tracy started in Membership Services as a Sales Representative and became Membership Manager in 2013. Tracy oversees Membership Services and the Health Coaching departments. Tracy is truly passionate about the positive health effects of exercise and proper nutrition and believes GAC, which is one of the largest multi-purpose fitness centers in the country, has something for everyone. Tracy and her team are ready to get you started!

Elizabeth McCormick

Elizabeth McCormick has been Pro Shop Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2011. She worked as a merchandiser and buyer for a large corporation prior to joining GAC. Elizabeth has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Messiah College. She and her husband of 17 years have 5 children and enjoy camping, fishing, jet skiing, and playing tennis.

Sandy Meszaros

Sandy Meszaros has been Operations Director for Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since April 2017. She has over 20 years’ experience in the health and wellness industry. Sandy spent most of her career as Director of Operations for several national worksite wellness programs. She has Bachelor Degrees in Exercise Science and Business Administration from Western Michigan University. Sandy is a longtime resident of Grand Blanc and has 2 teenage boys.

Jim Mongrain

Jim Mongrain has been the General Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since September 2012. Jim has worked over 30 years as a Registered Dietitian/Food and Nutrition Director throughout the United States. His last position before coming to GAC was as the Food and Nutrition Director for Genesys Regional Medical Center. Jim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from Western Michigan University and a Masters of Public Administration Degree from Western Michigan University. He has also served as a National Examiner for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award program which is awarded by the President of the United States. Jim and his wife enjoy spending time golfing, kayaking, camping, hiking, and mountain biking.

Amanda Moran

Amanda Moran has been the Group Fitness Manager at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since April 2014. Amanda has over 30 years of experience in executive sports and fitness administration in both education and health and wellness environments. Amanda holds a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Physical Education and Health Promotion, as well as a Masters Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Her passion for fitness and health/wellness education has enabled her to travel the globe to share her vision of healthy mind/healthy life with many individuals and cultures. Amanda has also coached women’s volleyball at Division I Lehigh University and competes professionally in figure competitions and has won many national titles.

Keith Schoepke

Keith Schoepke has been the Environmental Coordinator and Manager on Duty at Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) since 2017. He plays a key role in the daily operation of the club as well as providing management of the locker room staff and facilities. Keith received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College. He enjoys many outdoor activities including camping, kayaking, hiking, and fishing.
